Sorry about the delay in getting assignments out, guys -- work got very hectic for me this week, and there was a family issue I had to deal with, so I never got a chance to send them out. Once I'm back at my home computer later today I'll get them out, and obviously I'll be adjusting the deadlines accordingly, so you all have plenty of time to write your stories!

(I'll probably be recruiting for a co-mod for the next round, just to keep this from happening again, so if anyone is interested or knows someone who might be, keep your ears open for my recruiting post.)

Sorry about the delay! I moved, and work was busy, and then I went to Comic-Con, and man, you guys wouldn't believe my stories about my power and cable companies if I told you. ON WITH THE SHOW.

I'm just going to start round two all over again -- Katara won the poll, so we'll be focusing on her! Here's a breakdown of the schedule for round two.

Round Two Preparations!

Hey, guys! That was a great first round and I want to thank everyone who participated in any way (writing, reading, commenting, whatever)! Sorry about the delay in preparing for Round Two, also; it has been a crazy-busy month and suddenly I looked up and it was half gone. /o\

Anyway, how we're going to start this, is we're going to decide by community input who's going to be the focus of the next round! Pick two characters (only one will be the focus, but it'll help to have some backups) you'd like to read and/or write about, and I'll decide from there. This polling stage will run through Thursday (May 20), and I'll put up a sign-up post on the 23rd or 24th!

And tell your friends! We had a great first round, and I'd love to see more people join the fun for the next one.

So it's the big day, guys, yay! I'll be posting my fic shortly, to get things started. Don't stress over following the header, but it's a good guideline, and I'll make sure things are set so you can add tags as necessary. At the very least, tag things with "round one" and I'll add character/pairing tags later on, and make sure the title and pairing/character the story focuses on is in the subject line. Warnings are required. Use your judgment as to whether there's anything worth warning for, and if you feel there's nothing to warn for, say "none"; if you're worried it'll spoil the story, feel free to gray them out.

Next week, I'll put up a poll so we can figure out who the focus character for Round Two will be, and a timeline for Round Two besides! \o/ Thanks again for participating, guys, it's been a lot of fun and I think it's only going to get better from here.

Hey, guys! My apologies for my modly slacking (I started a new job and am still figuring out how to manage my time to adjust for the new schedule); I'm revising the timeline and, of course, since assignments are going out later than planned, the due dates will be pushed back accordingly. As it stands, the final sign-up date for Round One will be tomorrow (April 19th), assignments will go out April 20th, and stories will be due April 30th.

(Of course, that gives us an extra day or so for sign-ups; tell your friends!)
